That hamantashen were baked and the shaloch manos items were bought.
But costumes were needed. So.we went to Kfar Shaashuim and what a scene it was. Jews of all types REALLY getting into the Purim spirit with kids and adults picking out costumes ranging from Disney to Dracula, from tzahal soldiers to Santa Claus hats!
The boys were REALLY PSYCHED and after finding CT the ninja costume he wanted, he insisted we also arm him with a shield and sword. And DB was patient enough for us to go to a second store to find a Israeli soldier costume in his size! The cap gun was an accessory.
When we got hone, they literally jumped out of their clothes and into their new costumes. A week and a half away but they are in the spirit. As it says, when the month of Adar arrives, we increase the joy. They are living it.
