This image got me real deep. I don't think words do justice.
As I was leaving the kotel erev Chanukah, I saw these holy chayalim standing in formation, receiving an orientation and religious introduction to the kotel, as chayalim do. At the same time, the sun is shining brightly on the kotel, warming the thirsty souls that stream toward her to pour out their hearts, or simply seeking the connection they're looking for.
